I just purchased a 32 garage find.. Parked and not moved for 18 yrs.. I need to figure the front susp. Chevy bolt pattern wheel pattern.. Has a torsion bar aprox 3" long .. Any guesses.. Thanks for the help. I too figured Jag, But had no idea as to year.. Added pics as found..Even has complete chrome 9" , chrome spring , backing plates , drums , drive shaft.. Lots of old money spent... Code:
Early to late 60's Jag. Jerry Kugel among others made the crossmember to mount the control arms, rack and shocks. Looks like a real nice car and would have been considered high dollar state of the art at the time.
I agree on what everyone has said. You have a great piece there, I would leave the Jag alone! My late uncle had XKE all around back in the 70s on his 32 Tudor. I have XKE front upper and lower control arms and spindles for both sides I would like to use one day. I recognize those! Also agree the rear end is that 55 to 60 ish rear end. I do not see the bottom drain plug so it had me scratching my head a bit. Also there was modifcation to the ouside of the housing for what could be rear disc brakes. That front end is super when set up properly. Kugel is out of the Jag business now, concentrating on his own products and well time has passed, but he would be the person to contact with tech questions.
nice find and ill agree on jag .do you know if that car came from mass, looks like one that was damaged that i tried to buy in the eighties out of the north end of new bedford.
