I used a posies ultra narrow rear spring with my quick change, 32 frame. Ended up with a bunch of spacers and a rubber strip on top of the axle. The hanger gussets would whack the frame and I didn't have much travel. Not the springs fault, and it works fine now. But lessons learned.

Don't you have to move rear cross member back to maintain wheelbase?
OOPS, missed the part about 32 frame.

  3. Yes 1946caddy, You do need to move the cross member back. If your going spring behind it don't matter what set of Frame Rails your using.

Is that a 44 Inch main leaf? That's a nice setup.

I used the Posie Narrow Model A rear spring that mounts on 46 1/2" Perch centres, and did not use the reversed eye spring. I removed the two short top leaves and it rides as well as a Model A spring can be expected to.
My rear end is 57" wide drum to drum.
