I am re-doing the front suspension on the tub. I have tie rod ends on the tie rod and the draglink and I was wondering what the advantage of rod ends would be over the tie rod ends. Is there any reason I can not run the rod ends?

  2. I would say stick with the tie rod ends for steering duty as they are sealed up with their boot to stay clean and dry....
Now at the other side of coin for radius rod attachment to the chassis I would say a urethane rod end[ from a know maker]:D would be best.......
That is a place where the tie rod end may or may not be adequate in strength, as we do not always know what the Maylasian /OkieModo:rolleyes: manufacturers use for steel.....

Is one better then the other one?

  4. one is not really better than the other , there are reasons for and against both.

you will get many opinions on both sides...my opinion is: i use normal tie rod ends..period
