Ive got a 63 f100 that I installed reverse eye monoleaf springs on. Its like driving a pogo stick now. Fronts not to bad. Its 1 1/2" off the stops. The rear is 3/4" off the stops. Would a rear frame notch and shorter shocks help ? Are these springs just naturally bouncy?
    Thanks Kenny

Shock absorbers should eliminate 'bounce' whether the springs are stiff or limber...........

    X2.
the length of the shock is determined by the "rule" that states that you want to have the shock compressed 1/3 at ride height so you still have 2/3 to go on the drop and 1/3 on the recoil. if you only have 3/4" between the axle and the bump stop, i would suggest notching the frame regardless.

Can you use shorter bump stops? Cut yours down? I had the same issue with the mono leafs on my '54; 3/4 in to the bump stops and it bottomed out on every little pebble in the road. Replaced them with small aftermarket ones and did not need to c notch the frame. I have about 3 inches of clearance to the frame, 2.5 inches to the new bump stops.
