Suspension rebuild problem

    I am trying to install the upper inner shafts into the cross member of a 1950 Chevy.

    I got one side through and push it to the other side. (front to back) The trouble I am having is getting the threads to bite to continue on through.any hints or tricks?

    I got a tip via another forum ... wish me luck! Fell free to respond though, we could all use the help!
