Thanks Larry, Kevin and Chad were great hostes last year, and I will attend again this year. Anyone in the Chicago area needing some project insperation should attend. Jim
Im in, was fun last year. We can meet at my house and road trip together again this year.Might bring a newbie who needs to be inspired! Leaving for florida friday, will miss you guys saturday.Oh ya, the wife wants to know how warm they keep the autobahn garage.
The question is...Who wants to sit in the back seat of a Challenger? And...for your wife, we keep the Autobahn Garage nice and toasty. The floors are heated downstairs and upstars has its own furnace. You can keep her there until spring, but remember the gates are locked, but she can keep herself amused by driving a go-kart around the shop. Kinda like a funny-farm! Jack
Shoebox Mags and I are going to try to come this Saturday. Larry, ok if I telephone you if we get lost?
Its not fair, that I have to work, and will be missing everyone. I am throwing this out for discussion: Is anyone intereseted in driving to THE ROCK on Thanksgiving morning? Its a tradition with Bill widlt from Motorsports Unlimited. Bill interviews car enthusiats that show up there to acknowlege what happened on Thanksgiving in 1895. America's first automobile race. The Rock is located in Jackson Park on cornell st. You can see the Musuem of Science and Industry from there. Bill starts his recording around 9:00 - until 12:00. Anyone interested? Motorcycles are ok too. we've been there for Toys For Tots in the past.
I shall be there....just got back from Ohhhhiiio...the steel `26 body is here....anyone wanna buy a gl*** tub???
You are the man Jim, now how about some pix of that steel body ( the model T not yours). See you Saturday.
Miss you guys this week, off to florida. why? cause I brought up winter storage for the wife. joliet didnt fly very well, but a beach resort did. I lose again! anybody going to vette fest?
I would. But I'd have to ride. Shoebox Mags has M***. Catholoics. Where is it exactly. Museum of Science and Industry, right?
http://www.msutv.com/Rock%20Map%20(small).jpg Kevin, Here's a map . Its not at the Musuem, but you can see the musuem from Cornell street. We are leaving Burbank around 8:00am. Mark's cell is 708-707-6275. Just in case you need directions. Not too sure if we will heard the phone ring once we are driving, so it may be best to call before 8:00.
Thought so, usually takes months to produce a show. Hey, fun to see it again anyway.Who's coming Saturday. First official snow fall meeting.
Did anyone else see a brochure on a Hot Rod & Restoration Trade Show in Indy in March. It's a trade show not open to the public so I suppose I got one because we're a dealer. Anyone else going? Jack
I have attended a number of times, but I am not planning to attend this year. I will bring some current issues of their mounthly to breakfast Saturday.
I've got the plow on my truck, so I suppose I'll be there. If it's snowing hard, I'll miss breakfast in favor of plowing. Stu
