Technical SW Speedo cable

    I have a Muncie 4 speed that has a make thread for the speedo cable. My speedometer is a ‘60s vintage Stewart Warner that is female thread. So I’m looking for a cable with a female end to the tranny and a male end to the SW gauge. Thanks for the help.

    Male end for female S W is the same as early ford

    Yep, if you are building an early Ford, try the original cable. Hopefully the length is correct.

    I was confused reading this because 60’s SW speedometers didn’t have an inverted nut. So it must be 30’s to 40’s speedometer like alchemy
    said. I can make a new one up or he can find an earlier model cable and housing that is the correct length.
