SW Temp gage removal?

Is the cable end attached to the gage removable or permanent? I don't want to mess it up. I want to reroute the cable and this end would use a smaller hole in the firewall.

I had the same problem, it isn't removeable.

 

permanent,you have to reroute it from the other end of guage,only way it can be done
