The swap meet is February 20 & 21 this year.

That's a couple of months away, but it's not too early to put it on your calander. Wear a hamb shirt and I'll see ya there.

Do a hamb search for "swap meet boone" and you'll see quite a few posts about previous editions of this swap meet.

Speak up here if you plan to attend this year.

Hmmm, I might have to wrangle up some guys to split gas. Id like to go to a swap meet in feb. I need an old schoool bus or something to take to places like this. That would be cool.

Breeder has a short bus. I really mean it. I think it was the one he rode to school in.

I went a few years ago. It wasnt bad. I didnt buy anything but If I could car pool with 5 or 6 guys then it would definately be worth it.

  14. Hotrod33 and myself will probably go on Saturday. It has been a "dirt track" swap meet more or less in the past. We are headed down to Cape G. on sunday too, that is usually pretty good. And as for wearing a HAMB shirt, you would never see it under all the coats and hats, etc. I think it has snowed the past couple of years we went.

I have access to a fairly sweet conversion van…not only does it have a TV, but a VCR. It only has 7 seatbelts but it can fit up to 8 or 9 of my family, so like 10-11 normal people.

that's a sure bet to find a bunch of big, greasy, dirty parts real cheap. if you make sure you have plenty of room for parts, you'll come home empty handed.

what about belle-clair on dec 28th?

I have considered some aftermarket components for the A/V department but I can justify the price of a PS2 for a vehicle hardly used.

SHIT YEAH! You guys wanna car pool down there? Bobs, Steve? You both got vans. You guys interested? I imagine my dad, Tom, and Bill would go too. Gas shouldn't cost too much if we can fill a van. If we take Bob's van we can watch The entire Mighty Ducks series on the way there and back. I think im getting them for christmas. I don't have a diva dee player so i think my mom went to every slackers and dollar store in the area to find all 3 on vcr tape.

This swap is kind of a joke for hot rodders. I can't ever remember buying anything worth while there and it costs a fortune to sell, and a kidney just to go look and freeze your butt off, and in years past the parking was a REAL headache. I usually go because it's close, but probably not this year, not worth wasting a good build day on. Just my opinion!
