I got this shell at the Jefferson swap meet for $7. Just wondering if it's genuine or repro. I haven't paid enough attention to them to spot the differences. Either way, it looks nice on my wall [IMG]

I believe it is a 1930 Ford. If it was a '31 the top part would have a recesed panel similar to the bottom. It would have been painted to match the original car body color.

It's pretty thin though. Seems kinda flimsy for old tin. Not that that means anything. I could be wrong, It's bound to happen sooner or later. Two quarter sized holes on the driver side, one on the pass?

Two of the holes are for the light conduits. The third is for the horn conduit. As was said, it is a 30, not a 31. The originals were stainless. If chrome, probably a repo

Holes are for headlight and horn wires.
