Grabbed this 32 Tudor for dirt cheap at the local swap meet a few weekends ago. All of the important stuff is in pretty good shape and it will need all of the patch panels and floors....I think this will be a candidate for a deep channel and a hard chop!.
That is some sheetmetal security sytem you have there. It looks a hell of a lot better than the Model A stuff I saw yesterday at a swap meet for pretty stiff prices. To be different you might just section it as it looks half done by ma nature already and make a highboy out of it with the stock height top.
$500 seems like a bargain, it's got doors and everything. It's real rough, but very much worth fixing. Who says '32 Fords can't be affordable!
Cool. Good score. You know, that is exactly how I bought my '31 coupe. It had no chop and no floor as it was a drag car back in the sixties. So, the floor was completely removed to compensate for an 8" channel. As I understand it, the old NHRA drag rules stippulated that one could not chop, but, only channel in order to get the car to have a low stance. That car has a lot of potential. Good luck with it.
by the way....if you decide to leave it unchanneled i have the whole rear bottom 1/4 of a sedan. Everything yours is missing.
500 dollars is worth the story you will be able to tell now. Bought a 32 for 500 dollars people will not believe you.
