I have my 56 Merc on the the road...... all over the road ! I'm looking for a source for a stronger than stock sway bar. Stickies lists Larry's Thunderbird . ( 54-56 Ford P***enger ) not sure if the Ford and Merc are interchangeable. It seems to me that I recall a shop in Washington state that builds custom units, but Goggle is not my friend this morning. Help would be most appreciated.

Hi, I believe I can help you with your sway bar. I work with the manufacturer, we use to build the bars for 54/56 Fords, I believe we did a 56 Mercury also. If you give me a call, I have a couple of questions. 818 445 0431 Dave

When I was looking for one for my 54, the only place where I got one from was Thunderbirds Southwest thunderbirdsouthwest.com 979-249-4200.

Had a major problem with the guy from Oregon, had to get the state after him to get my money back
