    just got a 62 Shasta airflyte. gonna pull it behind my 53 ford car.

    Your Shasta came out great. Your tin must of been in great shape if they were able to reuse it. My brother does can ham restorations and replaces the aluminum on probably 95% of them, rair to find a 40/50 year old trailer that hasn't had hail or branch damage, or just stressed cracked from shaking!
    FWIW I believe he is repopping the Shasta wings for those looking, check retrorestorations.com for info.

    i thought about building a vintage teardrop caravan trike"thing" over a vw subframe, but setting it up very cleverly so you only had a very long springer frontend poking out the front of the caravan, and maybe some crazy exh pipe setup,design along the lines of ed roth/ ron finch crazy. (worlds smallest self propelled camper).

    I finally scored a rough old Shasta camper and have started the deconstructing last fall,winter put a hold on the work but I will get started on it again soon. HRP
