    hay can i use 6 volt switch's hook to 12 volt?

    its not the voltage , but the amperage. you could use a 110v switch if you wanted. its just the load on the switch. just like all of the wires in your car, they dont know or care if its 6v or 12v

    In my limited experience, 6 volt wiing is more robust than 12.. go for it.
