awesome.. I knew him from his movie concepts.. I didn't know he worked for Ford.


His idea that the future is now plus whatever and that it's not something completely new is cool. Blade Runner is a good example I think. No 1950's designer rendered the year 2010 with model As still in it, but look at us!

 

Excellent! Thanks. Syd Mead illustrations were the ultimate in my college years. The video has some great shots of his classic renderings.

 

I have a great Syd Mead book, it's packed with his concepts, some of it is fanciful, some of it pretty close to the mark.
