Great work guys! 9 cars? makin the Americans look bad- a full year since first HA/GR race and still only 4 cars and lots of "talk" of more. Keep us posted. Brad
You guys are out of control, awsome. Your making us look real bad.keep up the good work. Hey! could all you guys rent a big boat and bring all those cars to the Hamb drags next year?
A guy in the club has a couple of old Chevy 235's, we've thrown the idea up of using one of them, might be able to get a front end out of a prefect or anglia. Whadda ya reckon?
We looked at an anglia front end.....scary. Smallest we're comfortable is a model, but the rest sounds great. Cheers, Drewfus
Thanks for the encouragement guys With the Ch***is painted the dash in and most of the wiring The motor and front end tonight also paint the wheels and we will be ready for sunday.............................
more photos guys, I have been watching this like a hawk! one day... but enough on the plate at the moment.
Might be able to chew this over at the "rat" day if any of you are going. I'll be the guy no one knows who he is.
Ever patient Ezio starts cleaning up the mechanicals prior to re***embly. They say everyone has driven a kombi... if you haven't you just take the steering and that'll do. Nicks' rear suspension is turning into a work of art... You think this little bloke has the prerequisits to become a hotrodder?
Friday No need for words it was all go go go. Thanks to Jimbob for the use of his camera on Friday night after stupid me left the batteries at home for mine.
Saturday Even more go go go than Friday! A visit from the Canberrans and Victorian guys got their pulses racing. Joe, that's not for drinking!
The night proved a bit long and cold for the Sherrif. Even the kids were hard at it. James and Jack honing their fabrication skills. So when is it going to fire?
Sunday After getting it running at 2.30am Joseph got HAMBster Number 1 to Rat Day - under its own power. Congrats! A hard earned sleep!

Hey Larry next time your Down under call in ill show you how we train them women folk into cooking and welding
It's been a little while since there has a been an update, so just to throw out a teaser, whilst I still need to either find a running 8BA, or rebuild the one I have, I've been playing with the welder... The cage still needs to have a couple more pieces of 'moly' added, but they're cut and ready to go as soon as the power comes back on..... Will try and take some better photo's when I get my pedals, fuel tank, battery box and steering box (early 4wd hilux) fitted in the next couple of weeks... Cheers, Drewfus
