Cliffy shouldn't you be pimpin next years show by now? lol. Sorry I missed it, it's on my list for next year! Congrats on this year's I've heard nothing but good things!

Yeah...I have a few options. I think I am just going to stick with the stock unit and relocate the spring mounts. Going to fire up one of my 390's tomorrow to see if I have a good motor to drop in this thing. ****s I can't bring the Lincoln, but a g***er pickup will be MUCH more fun!!

 

Just got the call.....Symco Shakedown 2010 is a go. Still have to have a post show meeting with the Thresheree group and have to write the 2010 contract, but they all want us back.....Aug 13-14, 2010. Anyone have objection with those dates?

Anyone have a problem that we are starting the show on Friday the 13th?

yea, if you were within 300 miles of symco and didnt make the show, you truly missed out on something special... this is going to be one of the great, "cant miss" shows for sure

 

If you guys want to keep this going til next year...I am sure I can do that he he he.

Meeting with the Thresheree tomorrow night, hope to get all the good numbers from the weekened. You know, how much beer we drank! I do know that we went through 8 half barrels by Friday night and about 30 cases of PBR over the weekend. We guessed about 350 lbs of burger and I know they ran out of brats on Sat afternoon.

 

2010 NHRA Schedule came out today, National Event race at Brainerd, MN is the same weekend, I was just to my 11th national event in a row there. Maybe Symco 2010 will give me an excuse not to party for 4 days at the BIR ZOO!

Good thing I have until April to decide:
Drive time: BIR 7+ hours; Symco1 hour
Cost: BIR $250; Shakedown <$80
Party atmosphere: BIR- YES; Shakedown- yes
bands: BIR- yes ;Shakedown- yes
Drinking: BIR- required; Shakedown- easilly possible
Nitro: BIR- yes; Shakedown- maybe, please
many drunkin idiots: BIR- for sure; Shakedown- drunk but not idiots

Well, I'll be thinking about this for 6+ months, what to do???

 

We will certainly have some nitro next year......just heard we have nitro mini-bikes coming
