    Yekoms, Yes Columbus Bakery still has the best bread in Syracuse. They are on Pearl st. near the hospitals. I will try to be there at 10am.

  23. Wish I could be there. But Dinosaur BBQ is great! And if you can find it Columbus Bakery has some of the best bread in NY.

    Have fun!

    Columbus Bakery is still there. You also might want to try Harrison bakery for good rye bread and desserts and things, On W. Gennesee St. about 4 miles from the fair grounds. try a Prune Danish.....yea but something that sounds soooo bad is really sooooo gooooood.

    Harrison bakery here;

    Here is a map to Columbus. Grab some of their Pizza dough if you have access to a kitchen or oven while yer in town.

    I'll try to remember to get over there at 10. Won't have the Dodge there this year but will be there with my nephew's Chevy. ( Waaaay O.T. '69 1/2 ton lays frame on 20's and 22's)
    We took it for the first test run last night after 5 years of work. Took us less than 1/2 an hour to get a greeting from the Blue and Gold. Trooper says, "Where do I start?? No hood, no front plate, no mirrors, no back up light, no seat belts... You boys just stay put for a bit." He was cool though- just wrote us for the no front plate.
    It was a good night in spite of the ticket. The new motor runs strong and the suspension handles perfect. The look on my nephews face finally driving it was so worth the time we have spent on it.
