Thank you to Sparky and everyone else that busted butt in the Old School section. The whole fairgrounds had so many different cars and trucks.Very inspiring to see so many different styles and tastes!!The black Model A coupe with the hemi that is pictured above was one of my favorites.Missed the Hamb meet, got stuck in a food building overhang while it rained.Got to put a face to a bunch of avitar names which was very nice.
Only in America folks.I was amazed this morning that the fairgrounds went silent when the Star Spangled Banner was being sung.We are lucky people!!!

The best stripers in the "world" were there donating artwork to be auctioned off to benefit the "Ronald McDonald" house

  9. What a show, as usual, just about anything you wanted to look at was there. Does anyone know if the car count was up or down? It seemed a little low and Saturday, but higher on Friday. See you all next year!

This was my 1st time at Syracuse, I thought it was great, lots of shade and rest rooms. Friday was too hot but enjoyed anyway. Ive been to York, Columbus and Louisville continuous for the last 15 years. It looks like Syracuse is the place I will go in the future. I will not be going to Columbus much again. IMHO Syracuse had twice as many vendors and cars than Columbus.

We'll have to put Syracuse on the list of places to take the Speed Wagon once it is roadworthy, since Franklins were built there.

Bring it. Also the Franklin Trek happens in first week of August at Cazenovia College, about 15 miles from the center of town. I'll even board the truck 8 miles from Caz for you in between. They have a get together at a neighboring College ( SUNY Morrisville) with a big Automotive Program, and part of the day there can be a run on their Mustang Chassis Dyno.

Had a blast at the Nationals! Great Catching up with everyone. Met lots of New HAMBers this year too. Lots of cool cars! Can't wait until next year. Had a nice ride home through the scenic Rt. 5 with HotRodTrash and FedCoSpeed.

More pics of this please. I saw it moments before the owner jumped in and drove away. Didn't even have time to take pictures. Neat car. Was able to find out the body was made by Wintech Fabrication in CT.

  17. That's the only picture I took of it. It was very nicely built and clean looking.

All and all it was a great weekend. Except for having my tail light busted at the old skool roundup. Seemed like the crowd enjoyed our band. Best part of the weekend was coming in 4th at the pin up competition.

It looked like a whole lot of fun in a lightweight little package.
