I was driving my 59 Panel last night from a local hangout and the 3 Speed trans is on it's last legs. It has the stock Ford in-line 6 in it. It's a good runner and I wasn't looking for a complete engine swap. I was wondering what it would take to put a t-5 OD in it. Any input. Will it bolt up to the stock bellhousing, etc. Thanks,Fred

No. If you are a handy dude, and have a buddy at a machine shop, there are plans to make your own adaptor on the Ford Barn. Go to the early v8 forum, at the top right, click on "Technical Articles, look around in there. Its not hard, I made one for less than a hundred bucks including the cost of the machine shop half hour. The fast that you are running a six may change some things.
