Anyone put a t-5 in their car and keep the bench seat. I have the chance to buy one cheap. I think it would be nice behind my new Y block. I don't want to go after it if I can't keep my bench. It a Ford t-5 I know there is some differentis with the GM ones.

There is a shifter adapter that will move the shifter closer to the dash . Saw it on Ebay under shifter handles . Let me know how you make out . I am going to be doing the same thing to my 55 Fairlane .

Im doing the same with my 56 Fairlane, but I'm still a long way from figuring out the interior. Maybe I'll end up notching the front bench like I've seen in a few old g***ers.

Let us know what you guys end up doing - any pictures??

You'll probably have to use an s-10 t-5 tailshaft on a mustang t-5. Apparently, that is a really easy/common swap. I've never done it before, so I don't know how true that is.
