I did one of these a few years ago on the first T-5 I did. I replaced the plastic bushing in the shift block with a br*** one.It tightened up the feel of the shifter a lot. This trans also had a loose pin where the ball pivot was, I also re-pinned that(another thing to look at while your in there). This is one I made today for the T-5 that's going in the T roadster. Really simple lathe job. Only took one beer's worth of time The step at the bottom, is to prevent the bushing from walking up, out of the block. If it moves, it runs into the shift finger. Frank
