Ok all you guys running T-5's! I need to know what transmission mount to use for my T bucket project. Its a '91 S-10 transmission. Should i use the stock type mount, or is there a diffrent mount off of somthing else that works better, or aftermarket mount ? Tried a search, but didnt feel like looking through all 500 results!

    thanks!

I use a stock replacement S-10 two wheel drive part, works very well, easy to mount........in fact I used two of them to mount the flathead engine in our roadster as well.

also how does it mount to the transmission, those two holes on top with bolts to the tailhousing and the single bolt through the crossmember?

I used that one, welded a piece of angle iron to the stock x-member and drilled a hole. done.

Just got back from napa. Cost me $8.91 after tax. looks pretty slick, and I can think of several other uses for it at a price like that! Ok, im going out to the garage to build a crosmember!
