  1. You can but just try, but I like the setup. BTW, have you ever seen a Traction Avant?? You have copied the setup exactly, so far.

  2. Or a 60-70s Mopar, or a Toyota 4X4, Chevy 4X4, etc,etc...:D

s-10 4x4 and 1988 up gm full size trucks have torsion bar front suspension. The full size is way to stiff and heavy for a T, but might give you some ideas.

Sprint cars use short light weight bars (check out racing suppliers or Speedways website).

Heres a couple of pice of my wrecked Logghe altered roadster with a torsion bar. Note the bracing on the torsion tube.

Here is a shot of the repairs recently completed. I upgraded it to shortie coil-overs (made by Logghe and came with the car) for more travel and adjustability.

  7. Ummm, NO. Because I have yet to see ANY Mopar with REAR torsion bars. Or a Toyo, or a Chevy. But EVERY Traction Avant has torsion bars on all four corners. Arranged exactly like the car described, two longitudinal in the front, transverse in the rear. It was that, that I was referring to, the whole package.

  8. what these pictures arent showing you is that the drivers side torsion bar key is free sliding on the wishbone. what lee did was use the passenger side as the panhard for the front, so only one is solid fixed.
