With those big ugly tires on the front it doesn't really matter what exhaust you have because no one notices it anyhow. But I do understand that some European countries have severe restrictions on what you can run as far as tire sizes. You could always cut the collectors off and run four straight pipes all the way back past the rear axle on each side like some of the show rods had back in the sixties.
As long as she can't see her feet they won't bother me. Sweet T, the color is great. How about something like this for exhaust? Not mine, a bucket out of the UK.
speedway offers a cool sbc header in their race car catalog and best part about it, they are cheap $109... thought about runnin' them on my bucket but opted for lake headers

The pipes you got on it now aren"t bad at all just need some 10 inch or so turn out collectors.Good looking T.
How 'bout this? There are home-made glass pack baffles inside the megs. BTW, ignore the plug wires...They've been replaced.
Build yourself a fenderwell type of header, sweep them up and then down next to the cowl. Cap the collector and run your exhaust under the car. When you feel froggy drop the caps and run 'em open. Your other option is cast manifolds but I personally would build a fenderwell type of header if it were mine.
porkenbeaner - There isn't much room to run anything under a T, especially if it sits low. And on my T, cast manifolds ran directly into the frame. The options aren't as simple as they look - There just isn't a lot of space there. Running everything outside the frame and body is the only practical way to go.
I think if I remember right we used to run antler manifolds on them when we ran small blocks. I am probably wrong. I'm looking at his T and its channeled. I'm not there but I'd just about bet he could get a couple of glass packs under there. That's what we had to do in the '60s. Of course if the floor is built to the bottom of the chassis that probably isn't an option but ya just don't see that many cars with the floors on the bottom of the chassis. Anyway not to be argumentative. I'm not a big bucket guy myself but his is shaping up real well. Lets wait and see what he comes up with. Those European guys are usually pretty creative.
Ok,now its on. Got some help from a friend who Tig welded for me. They arent exactly straight and the probobly doesent look the same from side to side but its ok for now and the sound ALOT. Yes i will paint them white,and then you will see them on the car.
Well I'm glad I didn't say anything ugly about zoomies on a streeter. Can't wait to see 'em bolted on. BTW the T looks a lot better all one color.
Here is what I came up with. Not sure I'm in love with them. That's why I haven't had them chromed. They'll do for this summer.
I have never been a big T-bucket fan. I am now!!! That looks absolutely fantastic! And I think the front tires look fine. I vote for dual quads as well though. Keep up the good work.
