Hot Rods T-Bucket Frame

This is what I have for a body I have built a dozen cars from 1970-1920s. I thought the body was called a 27 "t bucket"

Nope!
That's a 1927 T Roadster.

 

Ok, now we're getting somewhere.

Next you need to study up on these (use the search function here) and look at some builds. Also, nail down what you want this thing to look like. And remember, this is a traditional hot rod site, so if you want help here you'll need the build style to be pre 1965.

And don't buy ANYTHING else in the mean time!

 

Sounds like a good project. By the way, where is NOPE?

 

If you had steel body parts, I believe you would have a 26-7 roadster body with a poop deck.

 

I think those are on fiberglass boats......
They're commonly referred to as a "turtle" deck around these parts.
And definitely a roadster, not a T bucket.
Time to get some "how to" books and start reading. ( and looking at pictures)

Just built a frame. 20 foot stick of 1.5 x3 inch tubing $58.00.

 

I recently talked to Diane at CCR and received their blueprints. It's a REAL game changer and has me heading a really cool direction for my new build. Their plans are VERY well laid out, precise and have full patterns for some of the small chassis pieces. For $25, it's worth it.

 

You should search the Hamb for 27 T on 32 ford chassis threads.
That's the way to go IMO.
