T-bucket header support

    My T will be on the road 5 years this year about 5,200 miles. The headers are older than that. Anyway, today one of the tubes cracked in one of the bends. I don't think they can be welded since the crack goes where there is no space to fit a welder.

    They are standard Speedway Sprint headers. Since cost is a factor, I'm thinking of replacing with Patriot Cl***ic. Any idea on support or is this just something you have to live with using this style of header?

    Do you have a picture of the crack? There may be ways to repair it, folks on here have quite a bit of experience and ingenuity.

    I'll get a pic I'm at work now. The crack goes almost all the way around the tube. It is the lower bend that makes the tube parallel the frame and then go to the collector. The whole tube could be replaced I suppose.
