Hot Rods T bucket insurance

    I just finished my T bucket project and tried to get insurance coverage and was told that because my car has a gas tank out in the open in the rear, I was declined. Now I've seen many buckets out there with gas tanks exposed in the rear like mine so where are those guys getting their insurance. Thank you for any ideas. Bob

    Did the insurance company do a visual inspection? I had a Model T and when I called my insurance company (USAA) to add the car to my policy there was no problem.

    Yes, I had to send a set of photos of the car to them

    I'd try another insurance company then.
    Would you be able to hang a pick up bed around the tank?
