Space is limited so where did you put your brake peddle and gas peddle?
    Have pictures?

Many factors contribute to where they end up.
    1. Steering box location
    2. How much the transmission is up inside the car
    3. Steering column angle

Are you using a 'Kit' or scratch building?

    need louvers ?

Man, the simple answer is, you put them where there is room! my car right now has a left foot brake, as that is what the client I originally built the car wanted. That is going to change soon!

I took a Speedway pedal m/c mount, cut the pedal arm off and had one that was straight cut for me out of 1/2" stock. The early Ford type arm that comes on these ***emblies is a major space killer.

Best I cam tell you to do is get everything together, bolt your throttle pedal in inline with the carb, then bend and move you pedal where it needs to go, to the right of the column if that is what you want. Believe it or not, this is a relatively comfortable driving position. Just can't stand the left pedal.... DSC02115.JPG

  5. OK then, I have seen hangin peddles in a bucket T. :D :D

Like need louvers? said you have to get everything where it is going to go then worry about where the peddles are going to fit.

Here is one from the T that I used to own. The brake was a little too close to the seat, so I had to pick up my foot off the gas and press the brake. I couldn't pivot on my heel - if that makes sense. Different but not awful.

As was mentioned, every car is different and the brake and gas pedal position are usually dictated by where your steering column enters the floor or firewall. On my Son's T bucket he did it like this:

And on my 23 I did it like this:

Just make sure your pedal is long enough to give you about a 6 to 1 or 7 to 1 ratio, otherwise it is really hard to push down to stop the car. I drove a bucket one time that had a very short pedal and I didn't think I would ever get it stopped.

Next to the transmission hump, kick panel, and steering column. And between the dash and floor. Don't forget to leave room for the steering box and exhaust system between the frame rail and the engine block too. If you want more of a challenge, add a clutch pedal and it's linkage to the mix too!
