If you are not trying to fit in with the HAMB , why are you here? Plenty of other websites out there that will cater to what you are building
Hey, TP; It will be well worth your time to read through most of this thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-bucket-of-ugly-a-de-uglifying-thread.824491/ . Just about covers anything you'd like to know about various T-bucket styles, & probably most importantly, *proportion* in t-buckets. Which is missed by most builders. & it doesn't matter what era you're building to/from, even a 'cross-over' will benefit. Marcus...
Yes. They are frowned upon. But so are '32 Fords, all the other Fords, Packards, Chevys, Studebakers, and all cars built before or after 1952. Also, all cars built in 1952. With so many people here, someone will frown upon them. Also, frowned upon, is various nuances or styles of t buckets. It doesn't have anything to do with the cars, it's the people who think frowning makes them look better. That being said, there are a lot of good ideas and tips on the "Bucket of Ugly" thread mentioned above. Heck, this whole place is full of good ideas if you're not too thin skinned and can withstand the "frowners." Smile. Have a nice car.
I will speak for me personally, I may frown upon the builder of a specific car but not the car itself. hell it aint the cars fault if someone fucks it up. I think that a glass t is fine but I really don't car what the body is made from as much as others do, I am not a big fan of the '70s era Ts too much. But who could frown on one like this.
