I took the braces out each side on both my T’s and made a steel floor to go right across at about that angle. Bonus is you can use the A pedals unmodified.

 

Also I found an AA handbrake that sits a few inches back and misses the T fuel tank.

 

that sounds like a god idea. Well the pedals are adjusted and the floorboard done. But I will save the design idea for the future. I guess it gives a little bit more room for the foot.

 

So got the dash done and kind of mounted. The gaugepanel will be filled when I find a Speedometer. The gaugepanel was very rusty and heavely pitted. I just put it in acid bath and put some paint on. Might look for a better one in the future.

 

My '27 tub sits on an 'A' frame also. (temporarily, while I repair sub rails and some sheet metal)
My 'gl*** '27 roadster is temporarily sitting on my '32 frame, which will go under the tub.
Too many T's spoil the tatter...

 

Well, I have told my self not to do ”unnessesery”stuff on the car until I get it running. But when I lifted the body the other week to do front body mounts I kind of got an urge to do some body work. Since the lower panels are just bent and dont have any shape (that need an english wheel) I was able to do these patches with an hammer as only tool. For beeing my first body work ever I think i went pretty okej. Still need some finishing touches thu. I also replaced the bottom 1,5 inch of the subframe.
I do need to make a new panel that sits at the door. Seen in the picture you can see that it will be hard to repair.

a couple of coats of high build primer and a sanding would have it looking like new.

 

Yeah. Thats the plan. I will paint it att the bottom for now, and hope I can make it look as it is kind of the faded original colour.

Spent a little time trying to do beads without a beadroller. Hard to make it really good. But I think I’m on to something.

 

Put some rattle can paint on the repair and mounted with the front body mounts I made looks better than before i any way.

So I started doing some eletrical wiering. Not my strong side att all. I really have to work hard to understand it. But I do think it’s kind of fun anyhow.
I have just taken apart and renovated this old power switch. I think it looks really good. Earlier today I installed A headlight switch in the floor. I belive it comes from my old -32 plymouth.
Allso, I found i that the pad that puches the stoplight switch was so worn that the botton has gone straight thru it.

 

After many hours fiddeling and researching auto elecricity I finaly got most of it done and working. I have some more to do around the engine and generator (i’m looking for an generator to hook up to my 12 v system).
I also got some new wheels, big and little. These have much better tires and I could sell my old for the same I bought this set for, wish of course always is nice. But the big tires really made the rear look high. So I have started to found and grind of the edges of my model-T spring so I can mount it and get it some what lower.

 

YOU should have been a "denizen of the dry lakes"-this is very 1947 in california--just get it done (well) w/ what you have--bravo!

The choke rod was heavealy interfeared by the T-gastank so I came up with this solution. Still needs just a little fine tuning. But seams to work fine!
