There is already a YouTube video, that was shot on Friday, to show what showed up early.

I went Saturday and the Nazis at the gate wouldn't let me bring my food in or drinks so I had to take it back to the car. Once I got in the place was empty really. A lot of race cars but not many spectators and I only took a couple pictures. 20230415_140035.jpg 20230415_140040.jpg

Thanks Brian… another reason not to attend for me. I’m hoping for some You Tubes showing the starting line..

I guess I'm glad that I didn't attend yesterday. If you can't bring your own drinks or a sandwich, why bother? If they had food vendors, bet they were super expensive. The airport cafe is pretty good but it would have been packed with people.
    Was there spectator seating?

Just watching a few of the YouTube videos that have been posted, it appears that there was a good turnout of cars to race, but it also appears that the amount of spectators, was a lot less than the last gathering!

I went today, just got home. Cost was 45 at the gate. Met my buddy Jasen with the bitchin A coupe and parked close to him under the DC3 (I think that's what it is). Great photo op parking. I shot a bunch of photos and video, I haven't even looked at them yet, just these 2. I'll post up what I've got later. But it was a great day at the races, lotsa fun. Not a great turnout, not like it was in December, maybe Saturday was better, though according to @wheeltramp brian there weren't a lot of spectators. But the racing was fun, they did some eliminations, Tim McMaster won the final for Flathead V8's in his T roadster. I'm hoping I got some video of that run. They also had some grudge matches and racers just running for fun. Looked like they were all having a good time to me. I enjoyed it, was worth the money and the drive. Oh, and that A roadster, just finished getting it put together yesterday, today was it's maiden run.

There were food vendors there, I got a great taco plate! And yes, there was spectator grandstand seating this time.

I didn’t want to go. However the girlfriend wanted to go despite my telling her all week about the cost. Well, we rolled up and they told how much. She wasn’t happy but still wanted in until I said pit pass was extra. When they told her the extra cost on top of entry fee she/we 180’d it and left.
