That's why I'm putting points in my car, they're so simple, even a cave man can do it. Wait, I've heard that somewhere before......

 

I have Babbitt rods and mains. I just bought this conversion kit not just for the points, I bought it for the centrifugal advance. In my research it appears that when you start raising compression and changing valve lift the ignition advance of the 4 banger is critical to the lower end and the addition of additional fuel with a down draft setup. Am I wrong?
