As some of you may know, I'm the webmaster for our car club and have been collecting photos of car club plaques. We now have over 6,800 different plaque photos on our site and many of them were provided by HAMB members.

Over the years that I've been doing this, I've received a number of E-mails about the T-Timers, a club that was started in the 50's that grew by adding chapters all over California. I've created a separate page on our site to record some of the comments that have been made and post the photos that have been sent.

If anyone has info they would like to add to this page, please contact me at clubplaques@frontier.com.

My late buddy Dan Franco of Culver City belonged the the Santa Monica chapter, he had both versions of the plaques, ran the one w/o the smoke on his Patina'd full height 32 Ford 3W that he bought in 1960 for $85.00 large!!!! he passed away in 2000. He had a slick 57 Bel Air Hard Top in that club in the late 50's and it's in one of those T-Timers ShowPrograms held in Santa Monica. His son Danny Boy has the 32 now and has the plaques as well.
