Plym49, Knew there was a neat story behind such an unusual car. It's great that you are also respecting its history, Thanks.
george, early on in this thread someone posted a link to more tub pix. your car is in there on the 2nd or 3rd page.
Hey fordnutz your daughters car is making me rethink about not running fenders on mine. I really like that car. That is one sweet looking T. Nice, very nice.
wow thats almost as bad as mine, I have been trying to sell this and seems I cant give it away. so guess I will build it. lets get this thread going again.
I do not run a back seat. I have my gas tank and battery back there. The rest is finished off like a trunk. The rear end is a Ford Crown Vic mounted with a trianglated 4-link and model A spring in a stock model A crossmember. There would be room for a seat if I had used a different style tank.
This is the one I snagged a couple of weeks ago at a farm auction. Not too bad for $550.00! My plans are for something along the same lines as Fordnutz' red one, but with a flathead instead of a 4-banger.
Ha...cool thread. That one on the strip from www.flatheadmeltdown.com is mine. Have a lot of fun in that car...
found this on MODELCAR ROUNDUP.COM its a 1/8th kit and would be great for figurin out how to build that dreamtub
anybody have any idea what this is? it has four working doors. i'm gonna go check it out this afternoon.
anyone ever seen a 26/27 tub with 28/29 "A" fenders/running boards on it? got any pix? please post here. if not a pic, can anyone photoshop this combo and post the results?
There was someone on here that use to own one. I think they were up in Ohio or Michigan. I believe he sold the car. I want to say the back doors did not open too. I look for photos....
Started on it, between a bunch of other projects, just before the leaves came down. 27 on A frame, 231 V-6,TH350, Jeep Cherokee rear, Corvair front. It WILL be ready for Jalopy Showdown this year !!!
thats me good old land of lincoln is where it was built sold it to a guy in dayton he sold it again...and i don't know where it went tk
This was a Cal Automotive glass car that 3 different guys gave up on back in the 80's. I bought it from a guy in upstate NY who worked at the GM engine plant in Tonowanda. He finished it with a Vega banger and a Vette rear. Just what needed during the first gas crunch. Sold it to Bill Smith who still hase it in his Museum.
