I just installed a WC T5 behind a 292 stock inline 6. I can't ge the clutch to work right. It is not engaging correctly. Everything went together like it was supposed to. I can put the truck in gear, start it up and it wants to go. If I start it up in nuetral, it will not go into any gear, it wants to but the clutch is no engaging far enough to get it into gear. I have adjusted the new clutch rod almost as far as it will go. It doesn't seem to make a dfference. All new parts, clutch disk is new, arm, throw out bearing, pressure plate, everything. help!

it sounds like you need to make the clutch disengage more, meaning you need the throw out bearing to move closer to the motor. without seeing it i dont know which way to adjust the rod that depends on how you have it set up. A picture of your set up will get you a lot more help.

As I mentioned in thread above, this is often an issue with the S10 version on the T5. The S10 T5 input shaft is longer than the standard Chevy input shaft all the adapters are made for...
