   I am not the first to do this, but as I am completing the T5 conversion on my model A I thought I would share pics of my short throw shifter. I changed the pivot point by 2 inches, bought a block of solid polystyrene, and fabbed away. At the shift knob, the throw from 1st to 2nd is about 7 inches.
