I've got a T5 out of a 92 S10 pickup in the hotrod I'm building.I got the ****** with no speedometer hookup and have been told that its an electronic speedo. Well, I want a mechanical speedometer and want to know if there is any kind of adapter or any other way I can make the mechanical work. Any suggestions?

We don't generally use one on our race cars, but I might need one of those one day. I searched for electronic speedometer adaptor and I copied this from www.transmissioncenter.net:

"Eight pulse signal generator for your electronic speedometer head. This goes behind your dash and plugs to the head and drives off of your old speedometer cable. Doesn't include the cables. Can be installed inline for both mechanical speedometer and pulse generator. Can be screwed directly to the transmission at the speedometer housing. Works for GPS, EFI or Cruise. Cost $63.00"

This internet is an amazing thing.
