Just purchased an S-10 T5 with this thing attached to the speedo output. It is labeled with:
    663AJ5
    .7333AAC
It also has what appears to be a Stewart Warner "SW" stamped on it. And it says "Made in USA"

Is this some sort of ratio changer or does it just redirect the speedo cable to clear something in the S-10 installation?

    Thanks for the help/info.

    Yes it's a ratio changer. I'd guess .73 to 1.

x2. Hang on to it just in case. You will need your rear end ratio and tire height to determind what gear should go on your speedometer cable for accurate speedometer reading. If you can't get close enough, you may need a ratio changer such as this one to get there.
    ( pending the numbers)
John at Deluxe Speedometer in Denver (303 629 6958) is a good contact for making custom cables and figuring out what you need.

Yep and you can probably open it up and switch gears and change ratios.
They sell similar ones to correct the speedometers in 4x4's and semi trucks. When I worked for Ryder truck in the early 70's we had a box of little gears for those that looked like miniature quick change gears.

A good thing to hang on to.

Thanks for all the quick replies. Now that I know what it is, I'll have to figure out how to use it.
