hey fellas, I got dibs on a t5 trans out of a 1984 Chevy s10.......the guy on the phone said the bell housing and trans are casted together. did they make T5 or T10 transmissions with the bell housing casted into it?

  4. If its an 84 S10, and cast one piece, it's likely a 4 speed (Isuzu?) transmission.

NV 3500. Put one on a small block in a later S-10. Works fine, but not much OVER in the overdrive (5th gear).

Didn't the 4 cylinder T5 have the bell as part of the trans.

  7. As far as the know, there were no T5 transmissions with an integral bellhousing. Some early S10s had an Isuzu trans that had an LP
    bell.
