View attachment 6499110 View attachment 6499111 Hey hot rodders and custom guys I just got my Merc back from the transmission shop (Valley Transmission in El Cajon California near San Diego) and wanted to say what a great job that was done converting that old three speed O/D to a T5 five speed. Simply put, that old flathead runs like a ****d ape with those extra two gears, now I’m able to cruise with ease on the freeway without it sounding like the engine was gonna explode!!! In turn it also runs a helluva lot cooler. Hats off to the owner of the shop Greg Boehm and company for their hard work and commitment to making me a very satisfied customer!!! All you flathead guys out there I highly recommend this engine and transmission combination. Happy motoring FLATHEADS FOREVER!!!
