View attachment 6499110 View attachment 6499111 Hey hot rodders and custom guys I just got my Merc back from the transmission shop (Valley Transmission in El Cajon California near San Diego) and wanted to say what a great job that was done converting that old three speed O/D to a T5 five speed. Simply put, that old flathead runs like a raped ape with those extra two gears, now I’m able to cruise with ease on the freeway without it sounding like the engine was gonna explode!!! In turn it also runs a helluva lot cooler. Hats off to the owner of the shop Greg Boehm and company for their hard work and commitment to making me a very satisfied customer!!! All you flathead guys out there I highly recommend this engine and transmission combination. Happy motoring FLATHEADS FOREVER!!!
