I have a NWC t5 behind my Flathead now, it works good but its getting hard to shift and first and second are too close in ratio. I can buy on ebay now a rebuilt ford t5 with the NWC tail-stock installed, this would put the shifter were it is now. I am not sure what changes I would have to do to make this work other than clutch disc?

If you're current T5 is a GM version, the Ford T5 will not bolt up to that adapter.

    What Bob said.

How is your T5 adapted? If it's with an Offy/Wilcap/Speedway adapter, it'll be a tough & possibly expensive switch. If it's done with a flat plate adapter of some sort, it may be a little easier. Regardless, if it's a GM pattern T5 (sounds like the 4.03 ge****t S10) as it sounds like, you've got a fair bit of work to do.
