Has anyone done the installation?, and could possibly give me ideas on how much is involved and if I am gonna need any specialty tools? any help or hints would be great.. I looked into this once for my T56. If I remember correctly, you pull the rear housing off, modify the slide bars, and put it back together with everything forward. It's been awhile, so I can't remember the exact details. I don't recall it being anything major, though. Check with RS Gear in New York. They are the ones that talked to me about it. Call them up. They are very helpful.

Maybe you should do a tech on this if you do it. Might be more people interested.

It has to come all the way apart for the Keisler mod. The shift rail has to be cut, and that is in the main case.

You might be able to work with a local transmission shop to do this if you don't dare. It is not super-hard, but can be daunting for the first-time in.

The A in my avatar has a T56 in it.
