My dad has an overdrive out of a willys wagon thats been lost to the kudzu many moons ago. All we can find on it is T96, hes pretty sure it was the solenoid shifting kind. Will try and get pics soon, but does anyone know if an adapter is made to make it work on a 3 speed tranny on a 239 flathead six pontiac?

Those Warner OD's were all the same internally, but I'm sure the housings were specific to the trans type they were used on. No way a Willys case is going to adapt to a Poncho trans.

T-96 is the transmission proper. B-W's solenoid shifted overdrives were planetary auxiliary transmissions attached to the back of standard 3 speed transmissions. The overdrive units were either R-10 or R-11. These designations were cast into the cases which also had the externally mounted solenoid and the governor switch.
