Hot Rods Tabs on wishbones?

    New guy here. I got these wishbones and am wondering what the tabs are for. Also is the curved part the top or the flat part,or does it matter. Thanks for the help.

    Only thing I can figure is shocks or an anti sway bar. Both very inefficient with the placement.

    Their placement might soften the ride if they were used with some "stiffass" shocks.

    Also, the top one is upside down, the bottom one correct.

    Tabs - to attach safety ties to keep them out of the dirt in the case of catastrophic failure?

    The tabs would be on the top, not the bottom then.
    Probably place to mount side lights to see around corners.

    Camera 2-20-09 095.jpg Tabs were on the bottom. If it was a spring behind set up, they were probably for shocks ( although they do look kind o small).02

    mech. rods run pretty parallel to the frame and up higher, but if they were custom brackets you could on to something. That small tab opposite the ground strap is where the stock anti chatter bracket goes 2-2-12 035.jpg
