Just picked up an old tacho, early MOON. I'm not going to resore it, I just took it apart and cleaned it. I had to replace the wiring into the tach as it had been cut. Question is: Where do the wires connect? Has white & black for the lamp and earth, and green and red for the coil. Does the red go to coil positive or coil negative? HELP!!

Not 100 percent sure but I would try : red to 12v ign source and green to the negative side of the coil. You are correct on the white for light and black to ground.
