Hello to everybody, I came across this tach and would like to know what it is and how it will be wired so it works in my '63 Fairlane with the 200 six in it. I have Duraspark 2 ignition if that matters! I realy searched the net to get an clue on this but to no avail, no sign of the logo which is all I have to search for. The housing is plastik and the interior is all metal. There are 3 prongs to attach wires to which I didn't try so not to fry this. Any and all info is highly appreciated. Thaks, Mustsed
I've searche as much as possible but mothing about this came up. I have this tach almost since a year now and have looked everywhere but there is nothing about it mainly because I don't know the name. That is the reason why I ask on here. Maybe someone here has seen or even owned one and knows something about it. Not pictured but the tach has a plastic cup with a leg so one can mount it on a surface. I doubt it is an OEM unit. Thanks, Mustsed
The logo looks similar to an old Accurate Instruments tach I had. I think they are still in business in PA.
WOW! They've got Hotrods in TURKEY! Carry on brotha and post some pics of what guys and gals are doing over there. Good luck with the info search.
Well, looking at the back of the tach it looks like maybe a + on the left terminal so I would make that hot with the ignition switch. The terminal on the right looks like a "C" so maybe hook to the negative side of the coil. The existing wire is the - ground wire and the one on top is the "light" wire.
I searched for the Accurate instruments but that logo is an "A" but the one in the tach is more like a "W". No way this is a Accurate instruments tach. The letters on the back are written by me after looking at the internals but it is not working when I wire it up that way. I checked ebay sites in Germany, Austria and the US to no avail. Searching for "vintage tach" till "tach with a w" and everything in between without success. I must be the only living human with that tach? Mustsed
