any info, is it safe to stretch the front axles like this. seen it done on hot rod t.v. seen it on real oldies from the ole dazes too, they say it gets its name from the axle looking like stretched taffy when it cools. thanx, dermott.
Lots of guys on the HAMB offering the service, Titus,Elpolacko and Jordon, the young man you saw on HRTV. Search for axle dropping, been covered many times.
Most are plenty safe, otherwise the old hot rods woulda all crashed, they were made of a heavy duty forging originally
