I have been looking for this tag toppers for years, my grandad "Highpockets" had one of these on his 1957 Shasta camper and it was the last time I saw one. He was employed by Foundry & Steel here in town so I have always ***umed they were cast there but every way I turned no one had any information, I looked at all the flyers advertising aftermarket ***essories but no luck. Last year we were at the car show in Cherokee,North Carolina I was talking to a friend and he ask me had I seen his sons early Chevorlet and low and behold the car was parked two spaces below me and he had the tag topper I had been looking for, when we started talking about it he said he saw it on market place and it was on a car in the background of a car for sale, he questioned the owner and was able to buy it, but it wasn't cheap. I offer to buy it but he didn't want to sell, the next day I ask him could I borrow it and talk with O'brians and see if he could make me a few, no problem and I offered to insure the topper for what he had paid. It took almost 6 months to get the toppers made but I am stoked at how they turned out, any of you guys have one from your town? HRP
To have plaques, belt buckles or toppers made you have to have a existing one for a pattern, I have used Dennis O'brian to cast our clubs plaques and at that time I ordered 20 and there was a discount at 20. This is the address, call him he can explaing the process. HRP obrientruckers.com
