Customs Tail lights for 52-53 Ford

I remember as a kid, looking at the J C Whitney catalogs, there were a kit you could buy to put Oldsmobile tail lights on them. I would like to know who made them or what year Olds taillights could be made to fit.

 

I used '56 88 lenses on my high school '54.

 

54 Olds....pretty much bolt on

I ran 56 olds lenses on my 53. I think I had to drill one new hole but that's it. Sat in nice and sorta frenched in with the stock chrome ring

 

I know this is totally off the wall but a mid 60's round vette lens looks good also,it's kind of a flush fit. HRP

ive used 59 caddy you can find repos on ebay they look tough

 

I use '56 88 lenses in mine too, but I had to swap on '53 Ford bezels because they wouldn't fit into the '52 bezels. '54 would have worked as well but those have little rectangular indentations around the outside and i was going for the smooth look

 

I've got a set for sale. Was going to use them on my 54 Customline, but have since sold that car.
